Who is he?: Dr. V. Ramaraj, hailing from the village of Kanakkanpatti near Palani, holds a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Administration of Justice and a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Police Administration. He possesses Master’s degrees in Constitutional and International Law, Labour and Administrative Law, Human Rights, Criminology and Police Administration, Journalism, Political Science, International Relations, and Public Administration; degrees in History and Law; and Postgraduate Diplomas in Criminal Justice, Child Rights, and Public Relations—totalling 15 academic qualifications. Having previously served as a Judge in Consumer Courts in the Ariyalur and Namakkal districts, Dr. V. Ramaraj currently serves as a Member of the Tamil Nadu Lokayukta—an institution tasked with investigating corruption complaints against public servants (including the Chief Minister Ministers and MLAs) and government officials (including IAS and IPS officers).
